Lincoln Electric Partners with Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc. to Support the U.S. Navy

The Development Effort Advances Lincoln Electric’s Large-Scale 3D Metal Printing Manufacturing Process for BPMI’s Mission Critical Applications

CLEVELAND (February 15, 2024) – Lincoln Electric is pleased to announce that its industry-leading proprietary, large-scale 3D metal printing solution has been selected by Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc. (“BPMI”) for development to support the U.S. Navy. As part of the development program, Lincoln Electric will be 3D printing large-scale propulsion components measuring almost 10 feet in diameter and weighing up to 20,000 pounds.
